Sun Paper awards Wetend with new repeat orders for testliner and corrugated medium machines PM36 and PM37 in China
Sun Paper, one of the leading paper and board makers in China, successfully started up at 2016 its two new testliner paperboard machines with an annual capacity of 800.000 metric tons at Zoucheng in China PM31 and PM32. Both of the machines are equipped with TrumpJet mixers. Recently the client awarded Wetend with a contract to supply similar installations for the two brand new board production lines PM36 and PM37.
The TrumpJet system provides liner paper with reduced chemical, water and energy consumption and excellent runnability and it supports overall production results: low basis weight, high strength, good folding resistance and high ring crush strength.
Production 400.000 tons of testliner and 300.000 tons of corrugated medium. The supply of mixing systems will be total ten TrumpJet mixing stations for wet end chemicals.
In total 110 TrumpJet Flash Mixing systems have been supplied to more than 40 liner and corrugated medium lines to 11 various countries. Applications are made for retention aid, strength and sizing chemicals. Number of plies has been from one to six.
Typical results with TrumpJet mixing technology: complete mixing takes place in less than 1,5…2 seconds time, giving chemical saving rate 30…40%, use of fresh water eliminated resulting to water saving 0,5…2,5 m3/ton with related energy saving.
